Audio Light Systems were part of the multi million pound refurbishment of the Assembly Rooms on George Street, Edinburgh. We installed audio systems into the Music Hall, Ballroom and Drawing Rooms and the Under Gallery Bar as well as a paging and background music system around the building. Audio Light Systems also installed the production, EPoS and data category 6 infrastructures, along with fibre around the building.

The Ballroom and Drawing Room systems comprised of K-Array KV50 speakers, KU36 subs and KA7 amplifiers while the Music Hall had KK50 and KK50vb speakers, KKS50 subs and KA10-10 amplifiers. We supplied four portable sound racks comprising Allen & Heath iDR8 digital signal processors, Sennheiser G3 radio microphones and Extron control systems, TLP700TV Touch Panel and ILP S6 controllers. These portable systems can be patched into any production data point and connected to the speakers.

The production and data infrastructures are also used to route XGA and HDMI signals around the building using Extron MTPX 1616 category 6 matrix and Extron SMX200 fibre matrix along with Foxbox HDMi and MTP T 15HD series transmitter and receivers.

The paging and background music system is control via a dBX Zonepro 641M and ZC-1 volume control.
