Audio Light Systems were contracted to supply and install the internally wired lighting bars as part of the upgrade to the Brunton Hall, Musselburgh. Also as part of the upgrade we supplied and installed both a fixed and portable audio system and a building wide paging and background music system.
The fixed system comprised a pair of Tannoy Qflex16 and PowerVS10BP subs, Allen and Heath iDR8 digital signal processor, Sennheiser G3 radio microphones and Sennheiser SZ 1015 and SZI 1029 infra radiators.
The portable system included d&b Q7 speakers, Q-Max monitor speakers and Q-subs as well as D6 and D12 amplifiers. The speakers were supplied with flying kits allowing the Q7s to be either floor mounted or flown off the truss.
Both the fixed and the portable system can be used standalone or together, tying in with the audio and speaker infrastructure we installed around the venue. Audio Light Systems also supplied and installed a Yamaha LS9-32 digital mixing console and two Yamaha SB168-ES digital stage boxes (digital snake).
A Telex TE-BTR800N wireless communication system was also installed giving building wide talkback in both the upgraded venue and the main theatre.
An Australian Monitor Digipage, paging and background system allows paging into the theatre bar, new venue, and foyer and restaurant.
