Catstrand Venue

CatStrand, in New Galloway, is a community arts centre and venue in the rural location of Glenkens, in Dumfries and Galloway. It has been converted and extended from the old primary school building by ARP Lorimer Architects to provide a fully equipped auditorium, cafe, shop, meeting rooms and information point. Audio light Systems installed all the technical systems in the performance space which is used by local as well as touring companies. The multi-purpose space can also be used as a cinema at the flick of a switch, which changes the equipment settings to cinema mode.
