Audio Light Systems won the prestigious tender for the building wide full upgrades at Queen Margaret University. The project which included over 80 audio visual teaching spaces had an original programme of around a year. Audio Light Systems completed the project in just under 6 months.
The reason behind being able to complete the works in around half the time is the ability to manufacture over 50 teaching desks in-house at any one time plus the site experience of ALS staff which gives a winning combination.
The university had a full schedule so room access was restricted, however good communication between the QMU & ALS guaranteed work was able to be completed when rooms became available, even at short notice.
The general teaching spaces & lecture theatres included the following:
- Crestron control and switching
- Kramer AV switching
- Panasonic projectors & NEC screens
- Teammate furniture
- CleverTouch interactive screens
- Sennheiser microphones
