Installation

St. Bryce Kirk in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, is one of the ancient and beautiful churches that can be found throughout the British Isles. Parts of the building date from the mid-fifteenth century while the history of the site itself can be traced back as far as the thirteenth century.

However, ancient though the structure may be, styles of worship have evolved with the times, and St. Bryce Kirk is no exception, hence the church has opted for a thoroughly modern solution from EAW to address their sound reinforcement requirements.

A centre cluster configuration minimises the acoustic difficulties created by the high ceiling. Audio Light Systems decided to suspend the speaker cabinets from three points using wire rope, which also had the advantage of giving pleasing aesthetic results. A projector system was also installed.
